Today I am providing this announcement in addition to writing yesterday, to give you the current situation here at FCFS. There will be no reason for not knowing what is going on unless you didnt read your email, and ignored this announcement.

As some of you know already, I lost my wife early January. Since that time it has been very difficult for me. The daily chore of trying to run my regular business, raise a baby, and run this site has not been an easy task. Business has been at an all time low for me for the last 19 years. This combined with the recent events, has put a major stress on my life.

We have been paying over 1 year now, and without taking in any upgrades in the last 6 months. At this time I am going to be auditing accounts as they are requesting cashouts, and accepting only those request for people that have not yet to break even. It is taking much to long to earn profits in this slow time. Anyone that has upgrades already in a profit, those will start being removed. If you are overall already in profit, your upgrads and balance will be put to zero. This will be checked by the amount of money you put in vs the amount of money sent to you though the processor you have listed on your account. This is not what I wanted to do at all, but with the recent slowness in business, and several threats to me personally. I do not need that headache along with everything else. This will be the fastest way to get everyone to at least even so no money will be lost.

Site Migration Complete.

We have completed the file migration to our new server. It went very painless compared to the transfer on 123surfeasy. Most people never noticed a thing. What I learned from the last transfer helped this one go very smooth. I still need to get the clock back on our normal time. I will try to get this done tomorrow.

Some people have noticed you cant not purchase ad-pack upgrades. I have these turned off, so we don't take on more ad-packs with rebates while revenue is slow in the main business. This will help allow rates to start climbing as other ad-packs are paid off. You still can purchase other forms of advertising though. We are still producing lots of traffic and have the best rates going on banner ads, direct email, and premium page listings.

Server change over

Just a quick note to let everyone know our server migration for 123surfeasy has been completed. That site is now on a more cost effective server. Now it is time to move over FirstComeFirstSurf. Hopefully this will go quick and painless from what I learned on the 123 site transfer (that took 4 days).

After server turnover midnight tonight we will begin the process, so DON'T PANIC if the site is not loading during this time. I am hoping to get this completed in 1-2 days tops. During this transfer time surfing will not be necessary. I will hold all earnings until we get back up and running on the new server, then everyone can surf and split them up. I will send out another email when we are ready on the new server.

Hello everyone,

Just a quick announcement to let everyone know what we have going on in the near future.

The first immediate thing happening in FCFS is I am going to temporarily turn off the compounding to help us get caught up with upgrades. We have more compounded upgrades in the system than the main arcade business currently can support. The good new is many of them are very close to expiring, and as they drop out of the system that will also help the percents go up. Many of you have been compounding since we opened about 7 months ago. By turning off the compounding that will encourage these people to cashout some money.

I know those of you with small upgrades hardly see any difference on a daily basis. The large upgrades are soaking up most of the earnings. Like I said before, many of these are about to drop out of the system. Also remember you can take some time off from surfing if you wish, because your upgrade doesn't expire until it reaches the 115%.

Those of you that have a "free" account status understand that after 30 days your account will get deleted by the program script. (FAQ#5) If you do not want to lose your account and all its history, just upgrade with a single dollar and it will keep it alive.

Those of you in our other program 123SurfEasy.com have probably noticed that upgrades have been turned off about 2 weeks or so. This is so everyone can be paid out because that program is going to move to a different server. We do not want people worrying about their money so everyone there will be paid out completely before the move takes place. In addition to the move we are going to change the program up a little. By paying everyone off first, this does 2 things. Firstly, it allows you to decide if you want to participate without forcing any changes on you you may not like as other programs have done in the past. Secondly, it proves that we were doing investing there as we said and it couldn't be a ponzie. To be able to pay everyone off without new money coming in for weeks tells it all.

Providing the transfer of 123SurfEasy to the new server goes easy and smooth, we will do the same here at FCFS. We have extreme overkill on our current server and by downgrading it we can save hundreds of dollars a month, and put that into the rebates for everyone as well.

We do have a couple other things in the works, but nothing ever seems to go as planned or as scheduled. Please be assured that we are looking out to do the best things for the longevity of the program.

Last of all. We are still getting thousands of hits daily and have the cheapest advertising rates for banners going. If you have other programs or something to advertise you may want to try it out. You can use your cash balance to purchase this type of advertising as well. Of course you can still use Alertpay or STP if you wish. I am also going to have a special on credits (200 for 1.00) for showing your page in the surf rotator, a special on bulk email to members (5.00 to all members), and a special on the premium page showings (4.00 for 1 week). Hello everyone, I would like to update you as to what is going on. I'm sure by now you have noticed a 0% return for yesterdays surfing. What I have done is to use this to gain everyone's attention since people are still not reading my announcements, and continue to submit support tickets to ask questions that have already been answered. I don't write BS stuff just to say something. I write these to keep you informed, and it is to your advantage to read them. Now on to the post.

First:Yesterdays profits will be added into today's at server turnover, so in reality you will be getting paid for yesterday after all. This was only to get peoples attention, and what better way than to reach in your pocket.

Second: I would like to say I have added extra earnings to those accounts that have been supporting us in this slow business time. Everyone that has upgraded in the last 5 days has received a 10- 50% bonus earnings on those upgrades. If you upgrade 10.00 or more you received 10%, if you upgraded 20.00 or more you received 20%, if you upgraded 30.00 or more you received 30%, and so on up to a 50% maximum rebate. This is my personal thanks to those of you that believe in what I am doing, and how I do it. I am thinking of other things to do for my supporters, as well as voters and forum posters. Like I have said before, our busy season will be starting in the near future, and we will be getting back to those 6% days again. We are not going anywhere. My company is 18 years old, and I have been the sole owner and operator the whole time. My company was built from the ground up by me, not purchased.

More payouts, and answered questions

First in line, I would like to thank all of you for your continued support. Even though it is currently small, it is support nevertheless. I would also like to take this time to answer a few questions I have been getting multiples of in the ticket system. I figured if multiple people were asking, there were many more that were not asking.

#1 Are we closing? No, of course not! We have no reason to close with the revenue share model. Revenue sharing can work, and has been proven to work in other businesses outside of this industry. The Admin must not fear putting up the real numbers and daily payout percentages. Falsifying these numbers just leads to a nasty failure and lost trust. It is better to earn a lower percentage than no percentage at all. We will not continue to pay a percentage we can not maintain just to make the program appear better than it is, like other programs have done in the past. We are not going to tell you we need to evaluate anything, or turn off the cash out button to prevent you from getting money you have already earned. This is a revenue sharing model and you earn based on all combined revenue for the previous day. This includes not only ad pack sales, but also vip subscription sales, site advertising sales, revenue from ad publisher networks, affiliate revenue, revenue from our principle business, and any other revenue we can include to help the program. If sales are up, your percentage rebate earned will be up. If sales are down, your percentage will be down as well. There will not be any adjustments or hidden manipulation of money to make the program appear as anything else other than what it actually is. This is how a revenue sharing model is SUPPOSED to work. Remember in a true revenue sharing program, it is not possible to earn money if it hasn't been made yet. If you have a cash balance, that money is in the system and can be paid.

This being said, you should respect the fact I am honest with you with the percentages, and support the program that is going to be here long term.

#2 When will the percentages get higher again? Honestly, I don't know when, but they will. It depends a lot on the performance of the company and behavior of the members. Like I said in last week's announcement, if all members purchased $2.00 in site advertising, we would be at 6%, but only a handful of people actually did that. We do have some higher volume advertisers in the program that have slacked off and when there ad packs expire, the daily rebate percentages should make a dramatic jump. Remember in order for me to make revenue, I must have operating capital to use in order to make it happen. Understanding that the percentage has been low lately, I did reduce the surfing requirements approximately 50% for everyone. This brings me to the third most asked question I have been getting.

#3 Why don't I just make it no surf while the percentage is low? That is actually a very easy question to answer. We sell advertising to make money as well. If no one is surfing, then who will spend money on advertisement if there isn't a person to view it? Pretty simple. We have got to keep surfing, so we can sell the ads. In case anyone was wondering, we now have nearly 2000 members in our database . If you want to purchase a premium page ad, or email to all members you are getting a great deal. We are still serving tens of thousands of hits daily to the front page if you need some banner advertising. We are still a very viable advertising source.

Now there are another couple options if you don't feel like surfing while the percent is low. One option is you can take a break from surfing since your ad-packs do not expire until they reach 115%. So if you take a few days off in these low percentage days, you aren't going to miss much, and can make it up later when percents are a bit higher.

The other option is get in our sister program, www.123surfeasy.com, that is a fixed 4.1% per day for each of 30 days that you AUTO-SURF (after premium pages). It offers a 123% possible rebate plus referral commissions. That program is completely separate from this one and that money is sent to an investment firm used to generate profits. Profits are then paid back to members when their ad-packs expire. We haven't started marketing heavy for this one yet, so it is still very early to start building your referrals since it is almost unknown at this time. Another factor on lower percentage lately is my main business is slow in the summer. Arcades, bars, laundry mats ect, buy their new arcade machines before summer to make money off the kids out of school. The end of summer people don't buy new machines because there are not flocks of bored kids hanging around to make money off of. Now as it gets closer to other events that create sales (Halloween, school carnivals, Thanksgiving, Christmas), machine and part sales pick up again. More business = more profits.

Now that I have gone over those common questions, let me take a moment to bring to attention that we are still paying, and early as always. Please take a few moments to let the world know by posting in a forum, and placing a few votes on your favorite monitors. Another round of payments is going out in a few minutes after I finish writing this letter. To date we have made over 2,000 payments early and only have about 100 votes on our monitors. Please support your program.

Program update about daily rebate earnings

Hello everyone, 
Some members may have noticed earning fluctuations over the past few days. I 
would like to take the opportunity to explain what's going on and what exactly 
this means for the program and everyone involved. As you know, our program is 
based on a "revenue sharing", not "profit-sharing" model. Please note that these 
are two very different models. The earnings rate for the day is calculated based 
on all combined revenue for the previous day. This includes not only ad pack 
sales, but also vip subscription sales, site advertising sales, revenue from ad 
publisher networks, affiliate revenue, revenue from our principle business, and 
any other revenue we can include to help the program. Your daily ad pack rebate 
can be anywhere from 0% up to a cap of 6% daily based on the aforementioned 
revenues generated by our company. Your ad packs expire once you have earned a 
total of 115% from daily rebates through surfing.

Example of the way the revenue sharing model works:

Say the program has $200,000 in active ad packs. In order for these ad packs to 
earn the full 6% the following day, there would have to be at least $12,000 + in 
combined revenue the previous day. Let's say there was only $6000 in revenue for 
the day. This would cause the rebate percent to be only 3%. Or say the program 
had a real bad day where no revenue was created which is highly unlikely but not 
impossible, in this case, the rebate for the day would be 0%. Case in point, the 
less revenue that is generated, the lower the revenue share rate will be for the 
day and vice versa. This is basically why the fluctuations are occurring. 
Ultimately, all ad packs will continue to be active until they have reached 115% 
in earnings.

Although the program has been going at a consistent momentum for the past four 
months, business has recently been slow with our principle company, as it always 
is during this part of the year. Additionally, trends show that the common 
protocol most surfers follow in this industry is to get into a program while 
it's hot and get out ASAP to move to something new. As long as there are always 
new programs popping up promising higher returns and even instant payments, 
people will migrate to them causing programs with honest intentions like ours to 
be negatively affected. Once the other programs close or disappear, the money 
lost forever.

Fortunately, we won't be disappearing in the middle of the night with everyone's 
money. The advertising you purchased will run as promised and what you have 
earned to your cash balance has all been accounted for and is payable 100%. This 
has been one of our primary objectives since the start. It's amusing to see 
other programs claiming to run "profit-share" or "revenue-share" models such as 
ours, decide to suddenly close and do not make payments of members' cash 
balances when all the earnings have supposedly been accounted for. The bottom 
line is if these other programs are not willing to pay your cash balance, then 
they are either stealing your money or have fabricated the statistics. Neither 
of which we will ever do.

FirstComeFirstSurf will continue it's course whether or not we reach the max cap 
of 6% per day. We will continuously work to find innovative ways to produce more 
revenue for the members through any methods possible. It might take a little 
longer to earn your entire 115% rebate when business is slow but rest assured, 
we will always be here making payments and running the program as long as there 
is an interest for people to use it.

It appears that some e-gold based members did not properly follow the instructions of our last news update from July 12th. We specifically asked these members NOT to purchase new ad packs from cash balance or (compound) because these upgrades would expire prematurely without earning their full rebate potential. However, some members did it anyway despite our announcement from July 12th that appeared as soon as you logged into your account. July 27th will be the LAST DAY to request cash out to e-gold. After e-gold payments are made to members who request by this date, we will no longer honor cash out requests through e-gold. If you are a e-gold based member and decided to purchase new ad packs from cash balance AFTER July 5th, your purchase will not earn the full 115% rebate as any active compounded e-gold purchases will automatically expire on July 27th. After this cash out date, there will be no option to switch payout to any other processor if your cash balance is $11.00 or more. We will disable purchasing new ad packs from cash balance for ALL members during the next few weeks to prevent e-gold based members from obtaining new ad packs through this method. This will also help get all e-gold based accounts completely paid and out of the system. We will re-enable the purchase ad pack from earnings feature again after July 27th.

We have devised a solution for members who do not meet the minimum cash out level and are unable to purchase more e-gold ad packs. If you have a cash balance under $11.00 AND no more ACTIVE AD PACKS, you may now file a support ticket to have your account switched to AlertPay or SolidTrustPay in order to have the ability to continue building your balance with new ad pack rebates and other earnings in order to reach the minimum cash out level. There will be a one time Administrative fee of $0.50 for this option, which will be deducted from your cash balance, to cover the transfer of funds to the processor of your choice. This will only apply to e-gold based accounts who no longer have active ad packs and have a balance of under $11.00 and wish to switch to another payment processor. If you do not wish to transfer your earnings balance to another processor, you may also use your balance to purchase site advertising or raffle tickets. E-gold based members with cash balances of $11.00 or more will need to request cashout to e-gold by July 27th.

Important reminder for members who purchased ad packs with e-gold

Hello everyone,
We would like to remind all of our members who purchased ad packs with e-gold 
that the last day to request cash out of your earnings balance to e-gold will be 
Friday, July 27th 2007. You can request cash out this Friday or Friday the 20th 
but the very last day that e-gold cash out requests will be honored is July 
27th, 2007. We disabled e-gold purchasing on July 6th which gives e-gold 
members sufficient time to surf out their ad packs and receive full payment of 
there rebates. We would like to advise all e-gold members that any further 
purchases of ad packs through earnings balance or (compounding) will result in ad 
packs not earning their full potential since these ad pack purchases will expire
AFTER July 27th, 2007. If you originally purchased via e-gold, please go 
ahead and request cash out on Friday instead of buying new ad packs from 
earnings as payments to e-gold will not be made past July 27th. This will allow 
us to properly plan how much e-gold we will need to have on hand to complete 
payouts. Unfortunately, there is no way to turn off the "compounding" feature 
for ONLY e-gold members so this will serve as as a reminder that members 
who purchased ad packs with e-gold should NOT purchase new ad packs from 
earnings balance in order to avoid loss of rebates. If you wish to purchase new 
ad packs, please do so via AlertPay or SolidTrustPay.

Members who use AlertPay or SolidTrustPay are not affected by this and will not 
have any problems if they purchase new ad packs from earnings balance. The above 
only affects E-GOLD USERS.

Update about daily ad pack rebates  /06 July 2007/

Dear Members,

We are aware that there are members with up to two days worth of missing rebate earnings. From what we can tell, some members were not credited on July 4th and July 5th for surfing on July 3rd and July 4th. Unfortunately, our programmer was off on July 4th so this has caused the problem to carry over an additional day. At this point, it appears that members WERE credited today for surfing on July 5th after the server turned over to a new day so part of the problem has been resolved. The programmer will continue to work on the missing earnings issue and we will update members as progress is made.

Cash outs and purchasing ad packs from earnings have now been enabled again since today is Friday. Purchasing through e-gold has now been disable as per our previous update. We ask that members refrain from submitting tickets and emails about missing earnings for the dates mentioned above. We are well aware of this situation and are working to resolve it.

Update about July 3 earnings not credited  /04 July 2007/

Dear Members,

We have learned that the site did not properly complete one of the processes involved for calculating and adding ad pack rebates for July 3, 2007 to member's account balances. We believe this has something to do with the coding of the script that "assumes" July 4th is to be counted as a holiday for earnings. Obviously, this does not apply for our program and members should have been credited 6% of their current active ad packs. We will be working with our programmer to correct this issue. All members will be credited for missing ad pack rebate earnings.

Transition from e-gold, New program launching soon  /03 July 2007/

Dear Members,

E-gold Migration:

We are now prepared to move to phase two of our transition from e-gold. Initially, this was our sole payment processor for the program but we later decided to add more options based on popular demand and other important factors. We have continued accepting e-gold for purchases and payouts throughout the life of the program even though we wanted to move away from it sooner. Don't worry, this transition phase will not be immediate and all members will have plenty of time to make final e-gold ad pack purchases and request rebate payments for all e-gold related transactions. Schedule of payments will not be affected at all.

Let me take a moment to explain the highlights of why it is necessary for us to move away from e-gold at this time:

1. Daily e-gold value fluctuations and volatility: We launched the program when gold was nearly $700.00 USD an ounce and the value has been fluctuating towards a downward trend ever since. This has caused the need to generate additional unplanned revenue in order to keep our program inline with our earnings schedule. This unpredictable factor alone can cause a strain on any program and has done so in the past with some of the largest programs in history during mid-2006. We know history can repeat itself so we must take proactive measures to prevent daily e-gold value fluctuations from having any effect on our program.

2. Moving funds in and out of e-gold: In order to sustain our business model, it is necessary to actively move funds in and out of our all our payment processors. The process of moving funds back and forth from e-gold has become more complicated and expensive due to many major e-gold exchangers suspending e-gold out-exchanges and/or shutting down overnight with people's funds. Luckily, our funds were never caught up in any "bad deals" but this is yet another risk we need to prevent. There are always fees involved when moving e-gold, roughly 3% - 4% each way, this is an extra 6% - 8% the program has to come up with to fulfill it's obligations.

3. Arbitrary account freezing & poor customer service: We have been hearing about more and more situations where e-gold is freezing and/or blocking user accounts without any apparent reason. When other program Admins or normal members have attempted to correct this situation, e-gold's customer service was simply unresponsive and unwilling to work with them to release funds. Although all contact information on our e-gold accounts is valid and matches our corporate documents and we have not been involved in any type of fraudulent activity, this is yet another risk we cannot take when member money is involved. Imagine what would happen if e-gold decided to freeze our accounts or yours.

These are the main most important reasons we need to start moving away from e-gold. Please take note of the important dates below:

The final day we will accept e-gold purchases is Thursday, July 5, 2007
The final day we will honor e-gold cash out requests will be Friday, July 27, 2007

Some may ask, why hasn't their been any updates for the past few weeks? Well you know the saying "no news is good news". Everything continues to operate almost flawlessly. Members have taken advantage of our recently added payment processor options, AlertPay and SolidTrustPay. E-Gold is still an option on the site and the only issues we have encountered with this processor is the high expense involved of moving funds in and out of e-gold as needed along with the daily value fluctuations. We will explain how we plan to help offset increased expenses below. For fun, we have now added some new raffles for great prizes including Permanent Ghost Surfer, Ms. Pac Man / Galaga real arcade machine, Xbox 360, Front Page advertising, and more!

Advertising:

AlertPay & SolidTrustPay now accepted:

The ability to accept AlertPay & SolidTrustPay has now been added to the site. There are currently two options for switching your payment processor to AlertPay or SolidTrustPay with FirstComeFirstSurf on your currently active account. Conditions:

Process:

Option 2 (Current members with active Ad Packs and Cash Balances):

Conditions:

1. You still have at least one active Ad Packs running.
2. You have a positive Earnings Balance of 1.00 or more.

Process:

Create a new FirstComeFirstSurf account using your AlertPay or SolidTrustPay information. You are not allowed to refer yourself but you can still register with your current upline's link if you wish. This will be the only exception to the multiple account rule as we will now allow members to have one account per payment processor that we accept. You can continue to use your e-gold based account simultaneously with your AlertPay or SolidTrustPay based account.

So why not just let members add AlertPay or SolidTrustPay to their current accounts without creating new ones?

There is detailed reasoning behind the one processor per account guideline however, this is a brief explanation for this update: The current script does not have the ability to itemize earnings based on multiple processors. So if someone purchases Ad Packs in both e-gold and AlertPay or SolidTrustPay, using one FirstComeFirstSurf account, and decides to cash out all earnings to a single processor, this causes an unforeseen shift of funds followed by a nightmare for accounting. To avoid this, all earnings need to be paid to the same processor used to purchase the ad packs. In order to allow the program to accept multiple processors and to keep things running smoothly on the back end, members will be allowed to have one account per processor that we accept as long as any multiple accounts by the same member do not refer each other. Any future processors added to the program will fall under the same guidelines.

And what about e-gold?

E-gold will continue to be accepted in the program for purchases and payments as long as we continue to have reliable methods to move program funds in and out of the e-gold system as needed. At this time, we recommend that our members begin using the other payment processors that we will be adding to the program simply because of the unpredictable nature of e-gold such as reported cases of account blocking, day to day volatility of USD gold value, e-gold is heavily targeted by hackers, and several other factors. All payment requests for the week have been completed for all members.
